Why it exists

Small MSPs are good at fixing things and short of time for sales. The tools that turn public security data into a prospect-ready report were built for larger providers and priced for them. How we build it

• Passive by design. DNS, certificate transparency logs, registration data and one request to the homepage. No port scans, no logins, no vulnerability probes. See how a check works.
• No AI in the product. Every check is deterministic and every sentence comes from a reviewed template, so a report never invents a problem.
• Calm, accurate language. Reports describe gaps and opportunities. They never call a business hacked, breached or vulnerable.
• We dogfood it. hookgap.com is checked by Hookgap, and we fix anything that keeps it from an A.
• No trackers. Analytics are cookieless and aggregated, and report pages are hidden from search engines.

What we publish

Free tools for SPF, DMARC and MTA-STS, and a blog of practical guides. When we publish numbers, we publish the method with them, as in our study of 64 local firms. Comparison pages are dated and written to be fair.
